If you’re in the corporate world and you stare at cubicle walls everyday then you probably don’t get outside much during the day. Even if you’re close to a window, it’s not the same. Break up your routine by cancelling your meeting room and have lunch at an outdoor restaurant.
You don’t need to take your co-workers somewhere expensive, but make sure to get out of the office. Pick an open and quiet spot at the restaurant, outdoors if it’s a nice day, and meet! Sometimes getting out of office walls opens the creativity floodgates and allows others to feel more at ease. If you find you’re more productive with your team outside of the office then make a point to have a lunch meeting once a month.
