Tip of the Day: Bored at work? Don’t tweet it out.

You may go through the seven dwarfs’ range of emotions while at work; sleepy, grumpy, happy, tired, etc, but don’t broadcast the more negative ones to co-workers. It should go without saying that with the popularity of social media you need to be aware of what you say, and who could be looking at it.

If you really need to tell someone you’re having a bad day at work, confide in your significant other or a good friend who you know won’t post about it later. Once you post something online, it doesn’t just go away. So the next time you’re upset, or bored with what you’re working on, don’t tweet it. Instead tell your boss why you’re bored and hopefully you can work something out.
