For professional and collegiate athletes, there comes a time when playing can turn into a business transaction. In light of recent ethically questionable events, the bounty case with the New Orleans Saints, it’s become more apparent that playing sports is a business. The question though is where do you draw the line?

We recently sat down with Brian Freeland, Program Director of the Sports & Health Sciences and Sports Management programs at APU. In the podcast below he shares his insight on the business side of sports, ethical dilemmas players face on and off the field, as well as lessons taught in class.
